Follow-my-voice is the extra magic for when you are online: it uses your browser's speech recognition, which needs a connection and works best in Chrome or Edge (it is not available in some browsers, like iPhone Safari).
When you turn on Follow my voice, your browser sends audio to its speech-recognition service to match your words — that is how voice-follow works, and it needs the internet. Your recording stays on your device: the video is saved straight to your downloads and is never uploaded by this tool.
